My mom and I love drinking wine together. Even though we live VERY far apart, we get together for wine tastings at least once a year (usually at Cooper's Hawk).

How Do I Choose Which Wine to Send Mom?
There are a few things that we always tell our readers no matter what the holiday is and who they are sending the wine to.

- Determine your price point. You can send a $25 wine gift card or spend hundreds of dollars on a recurring gift. No matter your price range, you will be able to find something.
- Decide whether you want to send a wine gift or a wine club. A wine club focuses primarily on the wine (including tasting notes, food pairings, etc) and may arrive as many times as you want to pay for. A wine gift will include wine but may be just bottles by themselves or bottles with other treats and will arrive only once.
Wine Clubs for Mother's Day Gifts
Here are the things that we look for when choosing the best wine clubs for Mother's Day:
- Presentation and “gift-ability”: How does the gift come packaged? What is included in the box?
- Affordability: How much does the wine club cost?
- Flexibility: Can you choose your wines or are they chosen for you? Can you choose the number of shipments or how fast you can get the gift?
