Give Wine from Club W

Give Wine by Club W

Club W has introduced a new site, GiveWine.com, where you can (you guessed it) give wine.

It's more than just giving wine, but it's not giving a wine club. Instead, these are wine gifts. But don't go here if you're looking for a cheap bottle of wine paired w/ an ordinary chocolate bar.

The Chocolate LoverLet's look at The Chocolate Lover – The ultimate in luxury for the red wine and chocolate lover. This set includes a 2013 Dime 100 Reserve (red blend of Merlot, Cab Franc and Cab Sauv, $32 value) along with two Compartés chocolate bars: Old Hollywood and Cocoa Caliente ($9.95 value, each). Your cost: $65. Considering ground shipping is included in the cost, this is a good value for a curated gift such as this.

The prices only go up from there with the gifts adding glasses, corkscrews, or even candles. Honestly, if there's a wine-lover on your holiday shopping list, he or she probably already has enough wine glasses, and maybe even a favorite corkscrew.

If you need to order a bunch of sets (maybe for business gifts), there's a special email just for that need.

2nd day or overnight shipping is available for those last-minute gifts. However, gifts cannot be sent to AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, KY, MS, OK, PA, RI, SD or UT.

If you're looking for a wine gift, GiveWine.com by Club W is a great place to shop, but not so much if you're looking to spend under $50. I'd like to see other pairing options at the higher gifts (rather than just glasses and corkscrews), but for a site that just launched, with reasonable prices, and backed by Club W I think this is one that will be around for a while.
