My Gratsi Sparkling Wine Review: All of the Bubbles, None of the Sugar

Todd has been drinking Gratsi boxed wine for years and is a huge fan. (Click here to read Todd’s Gratsi boxed wine review.) When Gratsi introduced sparkling wine (in bottles), I knew I would be the one to try it out!
What Makes Gratsi Different?
Previously what made Gratsi different was mainly the high quality boxed wine. However, another key distinction in those wines that they carried over to their sparkling bottles was that the wines are zero sugar and all natural ingredients. They even avoid 75 FDA-approved additives plus package in 100% recyclable materials.
Ordering Gratsi (with Optional Subscription Process)
Gratsi makes it easy to get started. You can either make a one-time purchase or subscribe to save an extra 10%. If you choose a subscription, you can get it every 15, 30, 45, 60, or even 75 days. That is one of the most flexible subscriptions we have seen.
Gratsi Price Breakdown and Options
You can buy Gratsi sparkling wines in 3 packs, 6 packs, or 12 packs. In order to get the variety (both white and rose’), you need to order a minimum of 6 bottles. The more bottles that you buy, the lower the price per bottle. For example, the 3 pack is as low as $54, the 6 pack $90, and the 12 pack $162. This is with a 10% discount you get on subscription orders. You do also get free shipping on EVERY purchase, which can save a lot compared to other clubs.
Shipping Coverage & Delivery
Gratsi ships free to most U.S. states, but does not ship to 10 due to local laws. Delivery arrives within 4–7 business days after processing (which takes 24–72 hours), and requires an adult (21+) signature.
Like many other wine retailers, they now allow for you to choose from other local pickup locations if you are worried about not being home to sign for your order.
What You Receive
When ordering the Gratsi sparkling wines, you will find that it is a standard shipping package of just the wines in the box. However, mine was shipped during the summer, so it did come with a cold pack to ensure the wines were not ruined during transit. Tasting notes for the two wines are found on the website.
If you order as a subscription, you may receive other items from time to time such as Bàcaro Wine Glasses.
Can You Send Gratsi as a Gift?
You have two options if you want to send Gratsi as a gift. First, you can purchase just a standard one-time shipping box. This will range from 3 bottles to 12 bottles. Second, you can send a Gratsi Gift Card. These are digital and you can include a gift message and when you want it sent. Gift cards can be applied to NEW subscriptions or one-time purchases.
Customer Service and Satisfaction Guarantee
Gratsi has a terrific satisfaction policy called the “Happiness Guarantee.” If you’re not satisfied you can contact them within 30 days of delivery and they will either refund you, send you a different wine, or help make it right.
Gratsi Sparkling Rosé Wine Review
The Gratsi Sparkling Rosé is made of Grenache and Syrah grapes. When I tasted it, my first thought that it would be perfect for sipping next to the pool. When I checked the tasting notes, they said that it is great for “a quiet afternoon with nothing particular planned” but also that it pairs well with seafood, brunch, and light pasta. It is very dry for a rosé, which not everyone expects. At 12% ABV, it is right in line with other sparkling wines, despite having zero sugar.
Gratsi Sparkling White Wine Review
The Gratsi Sparkling White is a blanc de blanc made with Chardonnay grapes from France. According to their tasting notes, it is very food-friendly. Without looking at the tasting notes before I tried it, that was my same thought. It is a dry sparkling and best chilled. Of the two, I would prefer the white for pairing with foods. It was also very dry but came off a bit sweeter to me, maybe because of the almond notes.
Final Thoughts
Gratsi isn’t a wine club but a wine retailer with a subscription option. That makes it different but it’s not necessarily a negative. If you try the wines and enjoy them, it’s worth it to have them sent on repeat. We have also seen them adding new products over the last couple of years since we started reviewing them, so it’s smart to get on their mailing list and keep an eye out for other new wines being added. You won’t find many sparkling wine clubs or subscriptions, so this is a good option for sparkling fans or those wanting to send a sparkling gift.
