Vinebox Advent Calendar (12 Nights of Wine) 2025 Preview

We just got news that the Vinebox 12 Nights of Wine advent calendar will be launching for presale on September 4, 2025! Even better, there are 2 different sets so you can order a full 24 Nights of Wine!

We have long been fans of wine advent calendars, but last year was the first time that we reviewed the Vinebox selection. You can read that Vinebox review here, but we are pulling out some of the most frequently asked questions for those of you wanting to order for 2025.

Is the Vinebox 12 Nights of Wine worth the price?

You get what you pay for with Vinebox. Their wines are known for being of higher quality than almost any other tasting boxes or advent calendars. There also is no additional shipping charge on top of the price of the wine, unlike many other wine shipments. Each 110ml “tasting” is about a 4oz pour, or a little less than a typical glass of wine at a restaurant. So for about $12 a glass, you are getting to taste an incredible wine. If your tastes run to bottles valued around $70-100 or you would like to experience wines in that range, the calendar is worth the price. If you are a $10 a bottle wine drinker, you may not appreciate these enough to justify the price.

What kind of wines are in the box and where do they come from?

Vinebox curates wines from around the world and your selection will be a balanced tasting from a few white wines and rosé through to dry red wines. Depending on which of the 2 boxes you choose, the wines will come from different parts of the world.

Does the wine stay fresh?

Because each tasting is sealed in its own tube, the wine stays totally fresh until you have a chance to drink it. Although it will be tempting to drink all 12 bottles in 12 days, it's fine to spread them out further. In fact, they say the wine is good for up to 3 years.

Is Vinebox a good gift?

The Vinebox 12 Nights of Wine is one of the best curated wine gifts based on a few different factors. First, it is a variety of wines so you don't have to know what type of wine the recipient enjoys. They will get tastings of many different wines. Second, the packaging is festive for the holidays. Lastly, they make it VERY easy to give as a gift, including a gift message.

Can you choose the wine?

You will be able to choose which of the 2 selections you want, but you cannot choose the actual tastings within each collection. They are chosen by the Vinebox Sommelier as a set and the packaging includes all of the tasting notes that go with them.

Will the wine tubes break and what can you do if they do?

The chances of the wine tubes breaking is very slim due to their excellent packaging. However, you can contact their customer service in the event that there is any breakage and they will take care of it. They are known for excellent support.

What extras come with the box?

First you get an attactive holiday box inside the packing box. Each box comes with 12 tubes of different curates wines (the main attraction!). There is also an attractive print that doubles as a tasting card. The tasting card lines up with all of the wines to tell you more about each one including how it pairs, where it is from, etc. There is also a video series where you can do a “virtual tasting” of all of the wines.

Does it sell out quickly?

Yes! It will sell out. The Vinebox advent calendar is one of the most popular online wine calendars, so people start ordering it months in advance to pre-order it before it sells out. If you do not pre-order, there is a chance that it will not be available come shipping time during the holidays.
