How does the wine taste?

Their cabernet within the Christmas Vacation box of wine was actually quite good!  We have been reviewing boxed wines lately, and this is a very creative twist on boxed wine.   If you thought you were buying bad wine in a great box — think again.  The cabernet was really smooth and nice, with just the right amount of fruit.  And, once the bag is empty, you can always refill it with a box of really good boxed wine!

Their etched, hand-painted bottles start at about $44.95 for some decorative-style bottles.

Their “Customize Now” fully custom/“upload your own design” option runs around $79.95.

Some of the more decorative or special-edition etched bottles start around $59.95, depending on design and artwork.

So, basically, bottles range from roughly $45 to about $80 for a typical 750 ml etched and hand-painted wine bottle.

It's also important to note that Mano’s Wine is not a wine club. You don’t need to sign up for a subscription or commit to recurring orders to buy these bottles. Each etched wine bottle (or Christmas Vacation box of wine, is a one-off purchase: pick your design, customize it (if you like), and order.

What Wine Varietals are Available?

Mano’s has classic red wines, most notably a California Cabernet Sauvignon under their “Handcrafted Reserve” label. These are described as a full-bodied, dry red with dark fruit notes like blackberry and black cherry.  (We can confirm these tasting notes' accuracy after our tastes of the cabernet within the Christmas Vacation box of wine.  It was quite good!)

For those who prefer something lighter or different, they also offer white wines such as Sauvignon Blanc and sometimes blends / lighter varietals under their “Artisan” line.

They occasionally offer sparkling wines or “bubbly” varieties, especially for gift-ready bottles and special occasions.

Mano’s also includes mixed or surprise-style wines: their “Mystery Wine” option delivers a randomly selected red, white, or sparkling wine. This is a fun choice if you want variety or a surprise gift.

What about shipping?
