If you’ve ever wanted an excellent value and delicious wine, then Gratsi should be on your countertop.  Gratsi boxed wine offers great value with prices as low as $8.50 per bottle when you buy four boxes.  All orders include free shipping — and if you purchase at least 2 boxes, you get free bonus glasses!   I really enjoyed the red blend the most: it’s smooth, dry, and easy to drink, while the white and rosé were surprisingly refreshing. For clean, no-added-sugar wine that tastes great and doesn’t break the bank, Gratsi is an easy recommendation.

Original price was: $50.00.Current price is: $39.00.

Each box of wine contains 4 bottles worth of wine.

Gratsi Wine
Boxed wine that's delicious, relaxed and priced great
I love their red wine.I really love their branding, I love the box, and I love everything about the way that they present their wines. The wine is delicious. It is dry, medium-bodied with a little bit of fruit, and I really like it. It reminds me of really good red Italian table wines from nice italian restaurants of the past.

PROS
  • Delicious Red Blend. Smooth, dry, medium-bodied, and fruit-forward—reminiscent of an Italian table wine but built on Bordeaux grapes
  • Surprisingly Good White & Rosé. Crisp, clean, and citrusy white; light, dry, and refreshing rosé—great for warm weather and poolside sipping.
  • High-Quality Packaging & Branding. Simple, minimalistic boxes with a relaxed Mediterranean aesthetic that reinforces their “Live Slow” brand vibe
  • Free Bacaro Glasses (with 2+ boxes). Stylish and nostalgic—etched with Gratsi branding and a cool, casual alternative to stemware.
  • Great Value by the Box. Wines average as low as $8.50 per bottle when ordering 4 boxes with free shipping.
  • Flexible Ordering. One-time purchase or discounted subscription with no long-term commitment required.
CONS
  • Limited State Availability Gratsi cannot ship to AK, AR, DE, HI, MS, NJ, RI, SD, UT, or WV.
  • Not a Traditional Wine Club. Lacks rotating selections from different wineries or personalized curation you might find in other wine-of-the-month clubs.
  • Only Three Wines Available. Red, White, and Rosé are all great—but adventurous drinkers may want more variety or new releases.
  • Adult Signature Required for Delivery. May be inconvenient if someone 21+ isn’t home during delivery hours (although pickup locations help).
  • Boxed Wine Format May Deter Some Buyers. Despite high quality, boxed format can still carry a stigma for those used to bottles.

When they sent me these three boxes of wine from Gratsi, I really had no expectations and didn't have any preconceived notions of the quality or what to expect in terms of taste, flavor profile, or pretty much anything with these boxes of wine.  (NOTE:  I did not pay for these wines.  This delivery was sent to me to review.)

What I knew is that I liked the branding; I liked the “flavor” of their logo how it looks so nice on the box and their packaging, and just the way things looked — it just looked really cool, nice, and chill. So I was looking forward to testing things out when they sent me the boxes.

They included some free gifts in our delivery, so we can see the gifts customers receive

In this review, I want to share my experience with receiving the boxes, opening the boxes, tasting them, and even discussing the included Baccaro glasses.

I have tons of photos and I've taken plenty of videos, and I really want you to see what you get when you order Gratsi wines.

Ordering Gratsi (with Optional Subscription Process)

Prices start at $50 a box. Discounts for multi boxes and subscription

Gratsi makes it easy to get started. You can either make a one-time purchase or subscribe to save an extra 10%. What I found interesting—and unusual—is the ability to choose how often you want your shipments: every 15, 30, 45, 60, or even 75 days. That’s more flexible than just monthly or quarterly like you see with most wine subscriptions.

When placing your order, you select how many boxes you want (each box equals 4 standard bottles of wine) and which wines—Red, White, or Rosé. You can order all one kind or mix and match however you like. The more boxes you buy at once, the lower the price per box. If you get four boxes, and subscribe, it brings the price down to just $34 per box, which works out to $8.50 per bottle. Shipping is always free.

You can manage your subscription through their website—change your wines, your frequency, pause, skip a delivery, or cancel completely. As long as you do it at least three days before your next scheduled shipment, you’re good.

Price Breakdown and Options

I wanted to be clear about the pricing. They have two options after you've selected the number of bottles you wish to purchase.Your only two options are:

  1. A one-time purchase
  2. A subscription (where if you subscribe, there is a reduction in the price)

It's kind of weird IMHO that you cannot subscribe to a single box purchase. If you want to purchase a single box, you have to buy it one at a time.

If you want to purchase on a subscription basis, you must choose at least two boxes. (It doesn't matter what flavors of boxes you choose, just that you have at least two boxes that you subscribe to.)

Also note:  When you purchase a subscription of 2 boxes, the price goes down from $88 to $78.  They offer a discount when you purchase multiple boxes AND another discount if you subscribe.)

I'm going to show you the price breakdown below with the cheapest prices available (based on subscription, if available).

  • 1 box (4 bottles = 3 L):
    $50 / box (~$12.50 per bottle)
Total price $50 (no subscription available)

  • 2 boxes:
    $39 / box (~$9.75 per bottle)
Total price $78 ($88 without subscription)

  • 3 boxes:
    $37 / box (~$9.25 per bottle)
Total price $111 ($126 without subscription)

  • 4 boxes: $34 / box (~$8.50 per bottle)
Total price $136  ($156 without subscription)

Delivery and Packaging

I love the “flavor” of their branding. So simple, elegant.

My order arrived quickly, and I was impressed with the packaging. The box included an insulated thermal bag and a cold pack, which is a great touch during the summer months here in Michigan. Even though the ice pack was only slightly cool when it arrived, it clearly did its job protecting the wine in transit, as the wines were not exposed to any extreme temperature.

Each box of wine has a sturdy handle, and despite holding the equivalent of four bottles of wine, it was surprisingly easy to carry—something I couldn’t say about four individual glass bottles.

Wath our fun little review video!

Deliveries are made via UPS and require a signature from someone 21 or older. If that’s a hassle, they do let you redirect to a nearby UPS Access Point for pickup. That flexibility helps.  (You'll see that I first encountered this option when purchasing wine from Really Good Boxed Wine.)

Shipping Coverage & Delivery

Gratsi ships free to most U.S. states, but does not ship to Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Mississippi, New Jersey, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, and West Virginia due to local laws.  Delivery arrives within 4–7 business days after processing (which takes 24–72 hours), requires an adult (21+) signature.

Gratsi can delivery to most states. (See this list)

But like many other wine vendors, they now offer a solution if you can't be home to sign for the delivery.  Instead, choose a UPS Access Point pick‑up that I discussed earlier.

What You Receive

Look at how nice these free bacaro glasses are! I really liked this touch.

Each box contains 3 liters of wine, which is equal to four bottles.

If you order at least two boxes, they’ll throw in two Bacaro-style drinking glasses for free. I really liked these. They’re etched with the Gratsi logo and their “Live Slow” slogan. They’re not just a gimmick; the glasses are genuinely nice quality and remind me of the kind you’d get at Buca di Beppo years ago.

Definitely a more relaxed and authentic vibe than if they had sent stemware!

The free bacaro glasses came safely packaged in this box, including a nice back story to set the tone.

The packaging is minimal and well-designed, with a Mediterranean-inspired aesthetic that matches their overall brand vibe. The materials are recyclable and produce less waste than traditional bottles. It’s clear they’ve put thought into the full experience.

Customer Service and Satisfaction Guarantee

One of the best things about ordering from Gratsi is their satisfaction guarantee. They call it the “Happiness Guarantee,” and it’s a 60-day policy. If you're not satisfied, they’ll either refund you, send you a different wine, or help make it right—no hassle. They have email support and website chat, and in my experience, they’ve been responsive and helpful.

The Wine

All three Gratsi wine boxes have similar design and messaging.

Gratsi only offers three wines: Red, White, and Rosé. That’s it.

And honestly, that’s a big plus for me. It’s not overwhelming.

The simplicity makes the ordering experience easy.

Gratsi Red Wine Review

Gratsi Red Wine Review (our photos)

Gratsi Red Wine Review (our photo of front of the box)

The Red Blend is my favorite by far.

The Gratsi Red is dry and medium-bodied with just a touch of fruit—not quite as light as Chianti, but evocative of a good, approachable Italian table wine. It’s beautifully balanced with juicy tannins and ripe berry flavors (Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon/Franc, Grenache, Syrah + Nero d’Avola), finishing savory and smooth

Though I had been calling it “Italian,” I learned it’s actually a Bordeaux-heavy blend from France and Sicily—delicious nonetheless. My wife and I both really enjoyed it, and we keep going back for more.

Gratsi White Wine Review

Gratsi White Wine Review (our photo of front of the box)

Gratsi White Wine Review (side of the box)

The Gratsi White is crisp, light, and refreshingly citrusy. Dominated by Sauvignon Blanc from Limoux, with a touch of Chardonnay, its grapefruit and tart citrus notes made it surprisingly enjoyable—even to me, someone who rarely drinks white wine. If you prefer dry whites, this one is a winner.

Gratsi Rose Wine Review

Gratsi Rose Wine Review (our photo of front of the box)

Gratsi Rose Wine Review (side of the box)

The Rosé actually surprised me. I don’t usually drink rosé, but on a hot summer day while we were swimming, we poured a couple of glasses and really enjoyed it. It was light, dry, and reminded me a bit of Pinot Grigio in a good way. My wife enjoyed it too, maybe even more than the white.

Open the Box: it's not going to spoil quickly like when a bottle of wine is opened.

Each box stays fresh for about 30 days after opening, which is another great perk. You can enjoy it over multiple sittings without worrying about waste.

I love that I could keep the box of red wine on my counter and we could grab a glass any evening we wanted a nice glass of wine — unlike when opening a bottle of wine, feeling obligated to drink all 4 glasses of wine (the whole bottle) because I didn't want the wine to go to waste.

NOTE:  Wine in an open bottle should be consumed the same day — especially red wine.  Sometimes, an open bottle of red wine is still good the following day, but in my experience, it's not smart to risk it.  That's why I love boxed wine — it stays fresh for weeks!

The boxed wine concept is also smart for transportation (square boxes are more efficient) and breaking glasses is not a concern, so less packaging is required.

Final Thoughts:  Our Review of Gratsi Wine

Gratsi isn’t your typical wine club—it’s more of a flexible boxed‑wine subscription. But if you're after no‑sugar, low‑sulfite, clean, easy‑drinking wine with a chill brand personality, it's well worth it. From the approachable blends to the thoughtful extras like branded glassware and free shipping, it’s a refreshing experience. The red was my favorite overall, but I was also very surprised by how much I liked the rosé.

Highly recommend Gratsi for everyday wine lovers who want quality without pretense.

We'll close this review of Gratsi with with the story of their Barcaro glasses…
