Sold by Big Hammer Wines, the Red Lovers Case is a subscription club of either 6 or 12 bottles of red wine per shipment. They pride themselves on being hand-selected by experts, with most wines rated 90+ in addition to a 95pm Cabernet Sauvignon.
Big Hammer classifies their clubs as Top Value Wine Clubs ($100-200 a month), Premium Wine Clubs ($300-500 a month), and Luxury Wine Clubs ($1000-$5000). The Red Lovers case is a Top-Value Wine Club and their lowest priced.

Prices start at $84.99 for 6 bottles when you subscribe and go up to $189.99 for a one-time purchase of 12 bottles. The 6 bottle subscription will equal out to $14.17 a bottle, which is a great deal for good red wine! Because you have to pay shipping on that, the best deal per bottle you can get is actually the 12 bottle subscription.
This is not the kind of club where you get a cheaper introductory offer and then the price goes up thereafter. It is consistently priced as long as you continue your subscription.

Where Does Big Hammer Wines Ship?
Big Hammer Wines ships to almost every state! The only states that they list that they do not ship to are Utah and Mississipi. Although shipments of 12 bottles are more get free shipping, you do have to pay extra for Alaska and Hawaii.

Although there are no tasting notes included with the wines, the website and their Mobile App do have extensive notes for every wine. Most will include information about where the wine was made, the winery that made it, tasting notes for the bottle, and even reviews and ratings from other sites.

Can You Send the Red Wine Lovers Case by BHW as a Gift?
Yes! You For this particular club, you need make a one-time purchase.
For some of their other clubs, you can choose to send up to 12 deliveries at monthly, every other month, or every 3 month intervals. You will find available on clubs that under the “Subscribe & Pay Less” option have a checkbox for “Is this a gift?”

Reviews on their site were very good, although it's a newer club so there are less reviews. It does currently have a 5 star rating, with verified comments like “Wine selection is great. So far my wine purchases have been absolutely great. Every wine has been excellent.”
Would I Recommend Red Wine Lovers Case by BHW?
As a red wine lover, this club was perfect for me. As one of the “Top-Value” clubs, the wines are not quite as high of quality as some of their other clubs, but the wines are all still very good. Because Big Hammer Wines specializes in the WINE and not the “gift” business, you will see that reflected in the packaging, gift options, etc. Because they import directly, you won't find most of their wines anywhere else (especially not at their prices).
