Which Wine Club is Right for You?
Wine Club Reviews & Ratings

Last Minute Shopping for a Wine Lover? Here’s your gift. (Solved)

We independently research every club that we review.
Although we may receive free samples or commissions on some sales, our opinions are always our own.

Yet again, the hours are ticking down until Christmas, and we are all trying to shove in as many last minute tasks as we can from baking cookies to buying presents. If you are still looking for a wine club to send as a gift (even if you are reading this on Christmas Day), we have done some work for you and found great options that will make your recipient think you had been planning the gift all year long.

The California Wine Club

The California Wine Club will be shipping wine up close to Christmas, but for a truly last minute gift you can buy a club and then send an ecard letting them know it is on the way. You can choose from any of their clubs (white, red, or mixed) and anything from 1 to 12 months. (Read all of California Wine Club reviews) Prices range from $39 into the hundreds depending on the level of club that you choose and how many months you select.

Order the gift first and then choose how you want to notify them.

You can print a PDF Gift Announcement, or Email them an e-Postcard Announcement.

It’s super simple, and it’s done immediately.  After you order, you’ll see a link that takes you  their announcement page.  If you print the PDF, you’ll be able to give them this:

Or, type what you want in the e-postcard and they’ll send an email to the recipient. When they open their email, they will see a card like this with any message you want:

The International Wine of the Month Club (Monthlyclubs.com)

The International Wine of the Month Club offers excellent value and amazing wines in a nice assortment of options.  They’re also the only company that can also deliver beer of the month (and cheese, chocolate cigars and flowers of the month) – so you’re totally covered on all your gift-giving needs.  (See our review of their Wine Clubs here.)  Prices range from $34.95 on up to $69.95, based on the club you choose.

Either way, you can order at the very last minute (even Christmas Day) and give your recipient a printed PDF, an Email, or both.  You simply use their simple 3 Step Message Builder to create a custom-crafted announcement.  (You can even schedule when they receive the email if you want.)

Todd loves wine - but not all wine. He's a fan of robust, dry, deep or spicy reds. The only white wine he likes is a pinot grigio and an occasional savignon blanc. Although his palette is limited to dry red wine, he's no wine snob! Warning: if you try to force a glass of Riesling in his hands, you are asking for a fight. Ask Todd a wine question!
