This is a Preliminary Review of the original Wine of the Month Club

It's just a quick video, because I just couldn't wait to tell you about this club!

You see, I just completed a fun skype call with the owner of the Wine of the Month Club, Paul Kalemkiarian (see pic below).

As a result of this call, I was really excited about this company, and their wine clubs. (So, I had to make this short video now.)

..so I'll keep this one short and sweet.

Here's my summary: I love it, and think you should buy. Become a customer asap.

Okay, okay, I know you need more details. That's what the “full review” will provide.[message type=”simple”]In the meantime, here's why I'm already a fan of the original Wine of the Month Club.[/message]

1. THE ORIGINAL

It's the original Wine of the Month Club. (Seriously – nobody ever did this before them.)

They started in 1972 (I was a newborn baby at the time!)
They own the copyright to the term “Wine of the Month Club” if that gives you any further proof or indication that they're the original.
Their story is really cool.

But more importantly, what they provide to us wine lovers is even better.

2. RISK FREE

[custom_frame_left][/custom_frame_left] The most outstanding “feature” that I want to highlight is their “risk free” component.

Paul doesn't want you to pay for wine you don't like.

He says that he knows he can't please all the palettes all the time.

But, you should know that if you receive a Savignon Blanc from New Zealand (for example), that you got the best version of that wine you could find.

Therefore, you can truly know if you like that kind of wine or not. (Without his expert suggestions, you could have simply chosen a poor bottle of wine and mistakenly presumed your experience would be indicative of all such wines.)

The best part of his “love it or else” guarantee? If you don't like the wine he sent you: He'll replace it, or refund your money.

Let's take a step back though. Because it's not really about the fact that he personally guarantees every bottle of wine the sends you. It's also not about the fact that they were the originators of the business of shipping wine to people on a monthly basis before anyone else ever did.

It's about the great wine you get, at a terrific value.

3. PERSONAL GUIDE

[custom_frame_right][/custom_frame_right] This is what Paul and the Wine of the Month Club is really about: You have a personal guide to the best wines you'll find, sourced from all over the world.

The way I like to think of it is like this: You are going to the market with Paul, a true expert wine expert who can tell you everything you'll ever want to know about any of the wines you're presented at the market. Then, he'll help you navigate all of the different wines and select the BEST bottles of wine and personally recommend them. So, you leave with the best of the best in the market.

That's essentially what you're receiving in the mail each month.

Paul's philosophy is that he wants to send you the best quality wine, not the most profitable wine.

Story: A vendor was presenting a wine that tasted pretty good, but not good enough. The vendor said, “The price is $80 a case” (roughly $7 a bottle). Paul replied, “I don't like it”. The vendor replies, “Will you like it at $50 a case?”. Of course not. Paul declined the profitability of a decent wine, in lieu of a wine that he's proud of.

4. WINE HE IS PROUD OF

He says that the wines he selects are the wines he's proud to share with his friends and family. It's about making you happy, by consistently delivering high quality, high value wines to you.

Paul wants you to receive wine that YOU are proud to share with your friends and family, just as he is proud to share these wines with his friends and family.[divider]

So, that's the “flavor” of this wine club. You have a friend in the business who has hand picked his favorite wines with which to impress you, each month.

..and again: Paul makes no pretenses that he can please every single person, every single time. So, if there's ever a time you don't like the wine or you don't like the label, or whatever — Paul will replace it or refund your money. Impressive focus on customer satisfaction.

This wine club already has high marks from us. I can't wait to show you the deliveries I have received and share more about this company with you in our full review.
