Review of International Selections

Although you would expect all wines that come from the California Wine Club to be from California, the International Selections is exactly what it sounds like. The California Wine Club owners took their normal practice of finding "mom and pop" wineries in California outside of the United States to create a club of hand selected wines from all over the world. The result is a wine club that highlights some of the best small wineries you have probably never heard of.

Wines in the International Selections club are generally reds but may also include whites from time to time. Along with the wines each shipment includes a newsletter that describes the wines, wineries, and country of origin along with other wine and travel tips. It's a great way to get yourself mentally ready to try out the wine before you break open the bottle.

Each shipment includes 2 bottles and you can send them monthly, every other month, or quarterly. Ordering for yourself, each shipment will run between $65 and $80 and you pay as they ship. If you are ordering as a gift, you will pay $84 a month with discounts when you purchase 3 months or more.
