We review wine clubs.
We independently research every club that we review. Although we may receive free samples or commissions on some sales, our opinions are always our own.

Which Wine Club Is Best?

Which Wine Club Is BestHaving reviewed dozens of wine clubs, we're often asked, “which wine club is best?” Well: it depends.

First, you want to make sure the wine club ships to your state. Because of various state laws, not all clubs can ship to all states. We've listed the clubs that ship to each state, so find your state (or the state you're sending the wine club to) and review your options.

Second, is the club a gift, or for yourself? If the wine club is going to be a gift, then you'll want to make sure to choose a club that makes gift-giving easy. Gold Medal Wine Club has great gift packaging and announcement cards, whereas Wall Street Journal Wine Club does not.

But if you're buying a club for yourself, Tasting Room by Lot 18 has an awesome system where you try 6 different wines, rate and compare them, then your wine club is custom tailored for you!

Of course, there are many other things which may make one wine club better for you than another. Ugh! Why does it have to be so confusing??? Well lucky for you, here are 3 people who have received many, many wine clubs in the mail and know the ins & outs of them. Simply ask us and we'll tell you which wine club is best for you!
